Swim Teaching a child to get past with a "float vest?
I teach swim a 2 and a half year old boy. We go almost weekly in the pool and he did very well to wear a flotation vest. The vest, kick it around in deep water and is directly (with support) in the Pool. But I'm not sure how people used to the vest. I think he has become dependent on the vest and can support some bad habits (for example, he has a "walking kick" move in deep water, but as a butterfly kick). I have a hard time teaching him what he needs to know how with bated breath, with Breathing above water, with the help of his hands and feet together, etc. I tried to wade away from the vest, but he really is (fighting without it he sinks like him a stone). An indication that the boy has been delayed due to neglect by his biological parents. He is not "disabled", but his understanding is more like a 24 months old child (6-12 months back). Any ideas on how to swim it would be great.
Get a teacher proffesinoal ik not be white, what do you think is there, but always something reassuring to know a child ti, that such teachers are trained and know what they are doing. In addition, they can ensure that no Errors in what you are teaching your child.
